Our YMCA Teen Holiday program provides participants in Years 7 - 9 with opportunites to participate in fun activities during the holidays. In a safe and friendly environment our qualified Outdoor Recreation leaders will ensure they make new friends, develop their self-esteem and learn a variety of new things, keeping holiday boredom to a minimum.
Some of the activites we offer each holidays are:
- Day Trips & Excursions
- Laser force at Kryal Castle
- Swimming & Canoeing
- Movies
- Hiking, Orienteering
- Sporting Activities
- Gymnastics
- Fishing & Yabbying
- Tobogganing
- Bowling
The pick up points for Ballarat are:
- Alfredton Primary at 9.15am - Returning 4.45pm
- Damascus College (Jnr) at 9.45am - Returning 4.15pm
Cost of the program is $50.00 per day (less CCB).
This program is approved for Child Care Benefit (CCB). This is government assistance which helps many famlies meet the cost of holiday care. Our friendly staff are ready to assist you with the referral process that will make obtaining your Child Care Benefit a swift process.
Ballarat YMCA OSHC Services are registered and participate in the Quality Assurance Process (OSHCQA) which ensures services meet stringent quality assessments to maintain accreditation with the National Childcare Accreditation Council. (NCAC)
All participants must be booked in and registered for attendance prior to the commencement of the program.
*Please note, there are no credits or refunds on Vacation Care.
