The Rural City of Horsham, located at the northern end of the Grampians, straddles the Western Highway between Adelaide and Melbourne and is the gateway to the Wimmera region of Victoria .
This park nestles between the Botanical Gardens and the Wimmera River which is used for swimming, fishing and canoeing. The park is centrally located within easy walking distance of the town centre and the Horsham Indoor Aquatic and Sports Centre, opened in November 2006.

- How about the challenge of an outdoor adventure experience – a half or full-day at the world famous Mount Arapiles for climbing, abseiling and general adventure activities. All grade levels are catered for by our qualified and enthusiastic staff.
This as an ideal location to venture into the Grampians, Little Desert National Park and Mount Arapiles Tooan State Park.
