YMCA Ballarat is a community based organisation that delivers programs and services that build
strong people, strong families and strong communities within our region.

We work in partnership with local government, non-profit groups and other community service organisations 
to provide programs and services to more than 500,000 Australians every week in health and fitness,
recreation, accommodation, child care, camping, youth and family services.

YMCA Ballarat Inc. manages a number of facilities,

    Members' Long Term Commitment Recognised

    Members who have maintained memberships for more than 10 years at Ballarat Aquatic Centre, were recognised in a special event at the Centre on Friday 11th May. A commemorative board acknowledging the commitment of 106 long-term members was unveiled during the afternoon’s proceedings by City of Ballarat People and Communities Portfolio Councillor, John Philips.
    Early Pool Closure for Swim Meet - Saturday 26th May

    Ballarat Swimming Club will be a holding their first “Top 5” Competition of the year on Saturday 26th May, at Ballarat Aquatic Centre. The Pool Hall will therefore be closed to the public from 1.45pm. The rest of the Centre will remain open to the usual Saturday closing time of 6pm.
    Expanded Prince of Wales Car Park Open

    The expanded and redeveloped car park to the north of Ballarat Aquatic Centre opened on Monday 7th May. The new 246 space facility includes 8 designated spaces for the elderly and people with a disability. Part of the Prince of Wales Park Master Plan, the civil works project will also include a new lighting system which is expected to be finished by the end of this month.

    The YMCA welcomes the decision by the Gillard Government to create a National Children’s Commissioner within the Australian Human Rights Commission.
