YMCA Ballarat is a community based organisation that delivers programs and services that build strong people, strong families and strong communities within our region.

We work in partnership with local government, non-profit groups and other community service organisations to provide programs and services to more than 500,000 Australians every week in health and fitness, recreation, accommodation, child care, camping, youth and family services.

Our YMCA Office at 122 Armstrong Street South is home to YMCA Ballarat services and programs such as:

  • Outside School Hours Care
  • Corporate Services 
  • Community Programs
  • Youth Development

YMCA condolences and support for Haiti earthquake victims

The YMCA family is deeply saddened and aggrieved by the tragic earthquake in Haiti. The Haitian people are suffering a crisis of a magnitude no one can comprehend. The global YMCA Movement is responding in a coordinated effort to address the immediate needs of the children, families and devastated communities in Port au Prince, and surrounding areas through financial support.

Young people take over Parliament House Melbourne

Victoria's young people are preparing to take over the chambers of Parliament House, Spring Street, to have their voices heard. But whilst they will be standing on the steps of Parliament House chanting, the takeover of the Parliamentary Chambers is, in fact, a peaceful one.
